The Sykes-Pickavant Flaremaster2-Stainless Steel Brake Pipe Upgrade Kit (02727500) has a quick-release chuck for positive engagement of the punch, a fast-turn coarse thread on hydraulic ram for quick assembly, a locking bolt with swivel pin for fast tightening with inter-changeable dies, held in place by magnets. It has also enhanced bridge unit for greater strength and an ergonomic handle moulding for greater comfort. This is unique, original, patented design for producing high quality pipe flares – on the vehicle and flaring pipes on the vehicle allows for accurate repair sections to be spliced following repair work or accident damage. The SP Stainless steel brake pipe is much more difficult to work with than standard cupro-nickel, copper or mild steel pipe. The flaring stainless steel brake pipes requires greater force and care in order to produce good results. For this reason, a special Metal Forming Compound is included within the kit in order to allow the material to form correctly.
